Tides of Dying is a collection of 27 poems published by the British Druid Order in 1999.
Grove
A leaf, alone amidst its kin
Dances my soul word-numbed awake
In not a shimmer of a breeze
Where blackbird in the green flutes blue
And scent of fox and woodland floor
Fill my lungs like breast-milk love
Damp and warm with flickering light
And mud slides silky on finger tips
As cushies break into the skies
From oak top castles rudely breached
By jay, who laughs, then quite disappears
Into the silence of here-and-now
Perfect calm. I gaze in my presence
As fragments of my life explode
Revealing shards of pain and lust
That leave me cluttered, tangled, fumbling
Till breathing deep I sigh, and lie
Back in the arms of Nemetona
